This week I managed a couple miles of walking with 50 lbs of luggage. I did one 45 minute yoga session. Once I was home the con-crud caught up with me and I have been taking it easy.

My average calories per day this week were 1615;
with a range of 1456 – 1778. However I did not count calories on Saturday or Sunday at the con. I tried to continue my portion sizes, but the prospect of counting every carrot stick or chocolate covered pomegranate seed was too daunting. I did count/estimate what I ate at restaurants on the road on Friday and Monday.

My weight last week was 153 lbs. (69 kilograms)
My weight today is 154 lbs. (70 kilograms)

I am not at all bothered by gaining a pound, I am well below the target weight I set for myself.

Actually ... a pound does not equal a kilo ... 1 pound would be more like 0.45 kilos, so you have NOT gained a whole kilo ... ;-))
How do you actually know so well how many calories you eat per day ... do you actually look up everything in detail? Admireable discipline ...!

153 lbs = 69.39963261 kilograms, rounded to the nearest whole kilogram 69
154 lbs = 69.85322498 kilograms, rounded to the nearest whole kilogram 70

Some weeks where I lost 1 pound the kilogram number stayed the same.

I look up calories online, or on side of food packaging. From this I have a spreadsheet of foods I commonly eat. When eating out I do alot of "eyeball esitmating" How many cups does it look like? how many ounces?
