chaoticgoodchic’s plane landed at Logan. We headed back to Lowell for a long winter’s nap.
Snowball took well to CGC’s visit, other than waking her up early to be fed/petted.
Christmas Morning we had bacon, eggs, and toast with Irish Breakfast tea. We opened some of our gifts (we left 1 gift for each of us to open the next day). She was quite pleased with what I gave her this year.
Then we watched Mama Mia which was one of my gifts to her. After that I was still in a musical mood, so put in Chicago.
We had dinner reservations at Legal Seafood in Burlington at 6:30pm (Yes, they were open Christmas day.) It was interesting driving up because the mall was dark and deserted until we drove to the far side and saw 50 cars parked under 2 lit parking lot lights. The food was excellent. She had clam chowder, we shared a mixed appetizer platter (“The Legal Experience”), and then for an entré she had scallops with garlic mashed potatoes, onion strings and polenta. I had the swordfish with garlic mashed potatoes.
After dinner we drove around till we could find a Blockbuster and picked up The Dark Crystal to watch.
Friday morning we slept in, played some games, watched Muppet Wizard of Oz then headed over to “The big blue house” in Milford to pick up 1 more present. Chainmail earrings made bypersis for CGC. From there we picked up my brother and his girlfriend in Cambridge and headed down to Teaticket to see my parents.
We had a lovely dinner of spiral ham, rolls, and Lots of vegetables (2 vegetarians there) by the glowing light of Treezilla. As my mother put it “they resolved the question of whether to put it against the glass doors or in the middle of the room.” This tree was in the middle of the room and against the glass doors. We exchanged the rest of our gifts, I got her Solace and Sorrow bys00j.
Saturday morning my brother Brian made us pancakes. We managed to leave by 11 am, and made good time going to Cambridge to drop my brother off at work at Formaggio Kitchen then I showed CGC around Cambridge including: The building where I work, the Stata Center,![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-community.gif)
