On August 31rd the SF/F section discount is 66% off

In the SF/F section there were 8 shelves with 7 “risers” each (56 sections).
Books filled 23 sections today. That comes out to about 41% inventory, with 34% cost.

I picked up
Nine Gates by Jane Linskold for $2.72
Bone Crossed and Silver Borne by Patricia Briggs for $2.72 each
Captain’s Fury, Princeps’ Fury, and First Lord’s Fury by Jim Butcher for $3.40 each

The Truth of Valor by Tanya Huff (in hardcover) was not in the store anymore. At $8.48 I am not surprised, that is hardcover for only 49 cents more than the paperback.

1. Aug 04: Transfigured Lady by Mary Robinette Kowal, Period Fantasy [P]
   In "rough" form it's a marvelous story, once it is polished it will be a gem.
2. Aug 09: The Measure of Magic by Terry Brooks (Legends of Shannara #2) 2011, Fantasy [ARC]
   I can't decide if it was the fault of impulsive & immature characters, or a heavy-handed plot
3. Aug 17: The Infernal City by Greg Keys (Elder Scrolls #1) 2009, Fantasy, RPG [N]
   I think people would get more out of it if they had played the game
4. Aug 30: Lord of Souls by Greg Keys (Elder Scrolls #2) 2011, Fantasy, RPG [ARC]
   The various puzzle pieces end up coming together nicely
