- Took three tries to make it to the end
- Magic Spear and Helmet!
- The easiest adventure so far. The Sommerswerd is a bit overpowered
- Did fail the mission once, however combat is still almost without risk.
- Nicely balanced. I was able to complete it without dying, but it took resourcefulness, and I was down to 10hp in the end.
- Much more challenging than the Lone Wolf Books. Especially combat
- Missing the usual "recovery" moments. I still only died once.
- Rather Surreal, by the author's intention
- There were some tense moments, but once again the McGuffin overpowered the character
- Some nice challenges, but missing a bit of something at the end.
- A story of Star-crossed Telepaths, remarkably similar to Catherine Asaro's Skolian Empire.
- It is Funny because it is True
- An excellent dungeon crawl.
- Not as much "gear" as I typically like, but good adventure.
- A clever cast of aliens. Loyalty without romance is a novel theme.
- Unreasonably tough end boss spoils the book.
- A fun mid-trilogy book
I read so many online books this month, I decided to color code them by series.
Serials such as Sparrow Hill Road, or Shadow Unit I am counting as a collection of short stories, one book per year. I have decided to count each Lone Wolf, or World of Lone Wolf story as a seperate book, because they were actually published as seperate books.
