This morning we got the call that my grandfather passed away. This was not a huge shock, he had been declining in health for about month now. His digestive and renal organs were slowly shutting down. The family got nearly a week's notice so we were able to contact people so they could come say goodby. He was still fully lucid up until the end (although he was sleeping a lot). He was 92 and had lived a full life. He was a printer and woodworker. He is survived by five children and their spouses, eleven grandchildren (of which I am the oldest), and four great-grandchildren.
