Some bad news

maverick_weirdoI have been avoiding thinking about it, but even I can only stay in denial for so long. It looks like I will not be going to O.V.F.F. this year. With no job, no other income, and dwindling savings I won't be able to afford it this year. That was very hard for me to write.
It will be the first time I have missed it since my first time in 2006. So many friends from other parts of the country, (& other countries) that I won't get to see. I was looking forward to![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
shaddyr's concert. I have new songs I was looking forward to singing.
I'm going to miss being there so much, so much...

Date: 2011-10-05 10:45 am (UTC)I very much sympathise, having just missed Filkcontinental for the first time since 2005. It sucks.
We'll just have to make up for it by having an extra-fabulous time at Concertino in the summer, right? :)
