Released March 9th, 2008, runtime: 48 minutes, 42 seconds
Warning these posts will contain spoilers, it is best to listen to the episode first. You can listen to the episode Here
(Sorry, I am a day behind. I had a job interview I needed to prepare for.)
Welcome to Character Development Theater.
Arkahn does the least talking, needing rest. Katherine opens up for the first time in a while, and to Mike of all people. Mike shows that he has some doubts, but plans to keep trying inspite of them. Jareth faces the full import of all he gave up (although I noticed that Kasha’s name wasn’t mentioned) and Zana tries to console him. Fezmer, following Mikes advice, tries to “pick up” some information from a pretty young widow at the bar.
The widow Loreli is played by Sequoia Wild who directed a previous episode, “The Trial, Part One,” (I said we would hear more from her.) She also sings the exotic song we hear in the background, which I believe is another original composition by Tiven Weinstock. There is another clip of her singing in Charendraen after credits.
It turns out that Loreli just happens to be the widow of the man Porec killed at the end of the previous episode. Yet when Fezmer realized it, he does not tell those traveling with him, instead he only informs the mystery bell.
