I did not walk this week, during the start of the week i was still recovering from con-crud. It rained for the end of the week. I did go outside to rake leaves a couple of times. I did 3 half hour yoga sessions this week.

My average calories per day this week were 1697;
with a range of 1642 – 1760.

My weight last week was 154 lbs. (70 kilograms)
My weight today is 153 lbs. (69 kilograms)

In two weeks, on Nov. 19th I will reach 6 months of tracking my diet and exercise. Practically everything I ate since May 19th I have written down in an excel spreadsheet. After Nov 19th I am going to take a week or two off of writing down every meal. I'm sure I'll still run rough calulations of how much I am eating in my head, but I'm going to see how well I manage my calories without the constant bookkeeping. Coincidentally Thanksgiving will be during the first week I am not running the numbers. Wish me luck.

Weight, Weight, Don't Tell Me...

Congrats on the weight loss! I went back to yoru first post on the subject in May 2010 and again Congrats! on meeting, then surpassing your goal. Have you figured out what your optimal weight is going to be?

Simple answer: No

Complex Answer: When I started this my main goal was to "fit into the smaller size clothes I used to wear" Which was pants size 33 (32 - 34 depending on cut). In the previous healty times of my life I weighed about 160 lbs. So I set my target for 159.

I have now surpassed that goal. By BMI (which is a questionable system, but a better system is not easily available) I am now BMI 24, that is considered "normal".

I now fit into most of my "smaller size clothes" (There is 1 pair of "tight jeans" which results in "muffintop") I would like to lose just a little more around the waist, but that is more about shape than weight-loss. I'm hoping that continuing yoga will take care of my shape.
