As of yesterday I have been on LJ for 5 months. In that time I have put 52 people on my flist (counting mccloudtour as 4 people) and 29 people have put me on theirs. That means that of the people whose LJ I read regularly, over half read mine regularly.

Ohio Valley Filk Festival was a great opportunity to meet people on my flist. I also got to meet new people. After the con four people I met on that trip friended me. Another place I found new friends (or found out old friends had LJ’s) is at the ENWorld Gamedays, I have been to 5 gamedays this year (and just missed a 6th).

So, how exactly does one become more than a passing acquaintance with you? We really enjoyed your presence in our home, and we'd love to have you back, and make as much of a regular at Chez Dork as distance allows. Is that a good start? :-)

You were the toughest person to place on this meme, and I suspected I would be hearing from you.

To be honest the reason you & gundo went on the "passing acquaintance" list is that I have only met you once (admitedly it was for about 6 hours), and that I feel there is still alot we don't know about each other. I look forward to seeing you again and I am sure that we will be "more than passing acquaintances" quite soon.
