I spent the first day of the year gaming

We gamed for nearly 12 hours at the Staybridge Suites where a friend of a friend was staying.

We played a six player game of my custom Zombie Fluxx deck*, twice
We played a five player game of Aquire
We played a five player game of Settlers of Cattan: Cities and Knights

I won the first game of Fluxx
CGC won the second game of Fluxx, and Settlers
janmagic won Aquire



Start with the Basic Zombie Fluxx Deck
Remove "Take another turn" card (overpowered, especially when combined with the "Let's do that again" card)
Add "Flame Thrower" (and additional zombies) from Flame Thrower expansion pack
Add "Zombie Boss" (from Zombie Boss Boxx)
Add "Composting" from the Eco Fluxx Set
Add "The Bible", "The Cross", "The Story of Jesus", and "Jesus Loves You" from the Christian Fluxx expansion pack
Add "Love", "All you need is love", and "Hearts and Minds" from the Basic Fluxx 3.0 Set
Add "Torah", "Candles", "Torah Study", "Tradition", and "Shabbat" from the Jewish Fluxx expansion pack
Add a note to the "Sandwiches" card that it also counts as bread.
Create "Exorcism" card using Fluxx Blanxx (players who have a religious symbol keeper i.e. The Bible, The Cross, Torah, or Candles may remove a creeper from the game)

I still need another Bible goal, I'm considering "Shotgun Wedding" (the player with The Bible and Shotgun on the table wins) however I'm not sure that fits the Zombie theme. On the other hand a "Necrophilia" goal (the player with Love and at least one Zombie on the table wins) might be a bit too much.

I would probably create this and then be honestly confused why nobody else thought it was funny.

While I'm missing some of the key ingredients, your zombiee fluxx set sounds like an improvement to the packaged game.

I have plans^tm to use my fluxx blanks to fill in the gaps they left in the Monty Python deck - I would have to go through it to remember what they were, but when I first looked at It I figured out at least 3 cards that it was so obviously missing.

Where's the Like button? Sounds great. I too spent part of the first day of the new year gaming? It's a great way to usher it in.
