More Paintings

maverick_weirdoI actually finished these paintings about a month ago, but it has taken till now to get the digital images downloaded.
For those started reading recently, I had a spontanious inspiration for a knotwork painting back in July.
Well, it turns out the muse wasn't done with me yet. I have completed two more paintings on the same theme
Alight
Cat's Cradle
Alight went into the Interfilk Auction at O.V.F.F. I am happy that it went to a good home. On the other hand I was disappointed that there was only a single bidder, especially because I had priced it low in hopes that it might get bid into the voice auction.
I still have Cat's Cradle and I think I may hold on to it a while. Part of the trouble with giving art away is that afterward you don't have much to show.
There will be at least two more paintings in this series, but I think I am going to take a break from painting for the holidays, so the next two will probably be done sometime in the spring.
