This is the Bankrupt your Pants disclaimer post. I have skimmed a bit, but any big new that came out after Wednesday June 27 I may have missed it.

An aniversary I passed in June

In June of 2006 I attended my first ConCertino, (re)joined the filk community, and signed up on LJ all in the same weekend.

LJ was my first purely social network site (although I did become part of some social networks on gaming sites). Now six years later I'm on LJ, Facebook & +Google. I also read tumblr and twitter occasionally. On LJ I now read 185 journals regularly, and 157 people have chosen to be able to read mine.

Before June 2006, I only went to filk circles/concerts at general cons, and listened to tapes/cs at home. Since then I have attended house circles in 5 states, attended all 3 varieties of NEFilk, I've been to ConFlikt, FKO, GaFilk, & OVFF. This year I was on the concom for ConCertino 2012, I am the filk organizer for 7Pi-Con, and I am President of MASSFILC.

A lot has changed in those six years. Most of it things I never could have predicted.
