Tuesday is Library Day
Jan. 24th, 2012 07:11 pmSpecifically Tuesday is the day our local library gets in their interlibrary loans, this is allowing me to read potential Hugo nominees.
On my To Be Read pile from previous weeks is The Wise Man's Fear by Patrick Rothfuss and The Children of the Sky by Vernor Vinge. (I fell a bit behind on my reading with Arisia & getting sick afterwards).
This week they had for me: Midnight Riot (a.k.a. Rivers of London) by Ben Aaronovitch, The Inheritance by Robin Hobb, and The Alloy of Law by Brandon Sanderson; as well as a couple of books which are not eligible for Hugo's but their sequels are The Broken Kingdoms by N. K. Jemisin and A Companion to Wolves by Sarah Monette and Elizabeth Bear.
When I went to the library to pick them up, the gave me a first edition copy of Berserker by Fred Saberhagen.
That should keep me busy for a while.
