Warning these posts will contain spoilers, it is best to listen to the episode first. You can listen to the episode Here
Arkahn shouting because she was too close to the explosion. That never gets old. I almost wish Miss “All that I do is accomplished with subtlety and finesse” had been shouting the whole episode. I also like that Arkahn is doing Earth references this season.
Let’s skip the bickering, that only Zana can stop, and jump to the old trading post. Once we get there we split the party, but not in any usual pairings. With Zana & Mike it is mostly interpersonal stuff. With Katherine & Arkahn and Fezmer & Jareth’s conversations we finally learn what happened immediately after the end of Season 1 for Shaena & Porec.
As a Bostonian I am especially pleased when Jareth spots a “Burning Red Triangle in the Sky”.

I’ll admit I am a fan of the Mike and Arkahn relationship, in spite of what I know is coming.
Finally the group experiences an echo of the night Shaena cast shift, and learns that the Herald of Oren is real.
There are lots of good moments this episode. The actors and writers can be proud. In the next episode they crank it up to 11.
