Screw Death

“Jenny, where have you been? Nobody’s seen you for two weeks. We thought something had happened to you.”
“Oh, something happened alright.” She answered with a knowing grin. “You know how you are always warning me that picking up ‘freaks’ will be the death of me some day?”
“Yeah.”
“And what do I always say back?”
“Screw death.”
“Exactly. That’s what I’ve been doing.”
“Huh?”
“He was tall and lean, with the palest skin, wearing a big black cloak. He told me he was Death and the way he said it I believed him. I figured there was only one thing I could do that might change his mind.”
“You mean…”
“After Death came for me he decided I deserved more time, although in some ways it’s a shame. He has spoiled me for mortal men.”
“He was that good?”
“Are you kidding? Death Lasts Forever!”
