Something is Missing

One of the people who was a huge support to me over the past few months was jalo_lalo.

She was working as a temp at my office while she saved up money to move to Portland, Oregon. About once a week we would talk over lunch. I talked about my relationship issues; she talked about her ex-girlfriend. I loaned her some CD’s, she loaned me some of hers. We went hiking & to a ren-faire. When I went on vacation, she fed my cats, brought in my mail, and even took digital photos of some of my artwork.

Friday was her last day of work. Today she started her drive cross-country to her new home.

So if anyone in Portland is looking for a great friend, there is one on the way.
